Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I find the books I need for my classes?

A: You can use Textbook Lookup to find each of your courses and view the textbook title, ISBN, author, edition and pricing information. Students find it helpful to have a copy of their class schedule handy when using the Textbook Lookup tool.

Select:
Academic Term
Department
Course
Section - Click on the Section/Instructor for your class

Once you select your section, you will see a list of Materials including the optional and required textbooks/materials for the course. If this area is blank, you may need to check back at a later time since textbooks only show up after instructors officially adopt them for the course. You can order your textbooks directly from the textbook lookup selecting the checkbox next to each book and then adding them to your cart. Once you have all your books in your cart, continue to "checkout" to submit your order.

Q: I cannot log into the Bookstore's webpage - how do I set up my account?

A: You do not need to log in to view textbooks or browse the website. The first time you place an order, you will be prompted to create an account. This account will allow you to view your order history.

Q: How do I order items online?

A: You can use the Textbook Lookup to find your books/materials for each class and then Add/Update Items in Cart. For clothing and general merchandise, you select your size (if applicable) and Add to Cart. When you are finished shopping, click on the shopping cart icon in the upper right of the screen and select Checkout. During Checkout you can select your Delivery Preference to either pick up in-store at the Bedford or Cumberland Campus (no additional cost) or have the order shipped by UPS (subject to shipping charges). Select your Payment Method of either Credit Card or Student Account and enter your 7-digit Student ID Number.  Add comments (if needed) then review your order and click on Submit If you need a more detailed step-by-step guide with instructions and photos of each step, click here

Q: If another agency is paying for my books, can I still order them online?

A:  In most cases you can still use the online ordering form. When you get to the order checkout- you will need to enter your Student ID# and select pay with "Student Account" as your payment method.  Make sure you add a note in the "Comments" section telling the Bookstore who is paying for your textbooks.
