Q: Where is the Campus Bookstore located?

A:  We are located at the Cumberland Campus next to the College Center and Library.  Our store has a bright blue and green "Campus Store" awning that makes it very visable. We reccomend parking in the upper parking lots or lower lot by the gym.

Q: When will my order be ready?

A:  You will receive an email when your order is complete.  We ask for a minimum of 24 hours to fill orders. Orders placed on weekends/holidays are processed when the college reopens.

If you order consists of ONLY ACCESS CODES, an associate will email your codes to you. Emails will have the Subject Line: Access Code from ACM Bookstore. Please check your Junk/Spam folders.

Bedford Campus Orders are delivered by courier on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and available for pick-up after 11am.

 


 

 

Q: What do I need to Pick-Up my Order?

A: You will need to provide the Order # and Name on the Order to the Bookstore Associate at time of pick-up. 

 


Q: How do I find the books I need?

A: Use Textbook Lookup to find each course and view textbook and pricing using course info from your schedule.

Section - Click on the Section/Instructor for your class
 

Once you select your section, you will see a list of Materials (optional and required textbooks/materials) for the course. If this area is blank, check back later since books only show up after instructors adopt them. You can order your books directly from the textbook lookup by selecting the checkbox next to each book and adding them to your cart. "Checkout" to submit your order.

  • Order online and use our NEW Pick-Up Window (Located to the Right of the Bookstore Entrance).
  • Allow 24 Hours minimum for order processing.
  • Check your email for updates. 
  • If a third party is paying for your order: Select "Student Financial Aid" as payment. List the funding type in "Comments". (Example: VERSO, Veteran, FSU-BSN, UMPC, Upward Bound)
  • Orders consisting of only Access Codes will be sent in a separate email with the Subject Line: Access Code from ACM Bookstore.  Please check your spam/junk folders.

Q: My course gives me two Choices - how do I know which one to pick?  Need Assistance Callout

A: You must select the choice that you prefer. For example, one choice may be a "Bundle" consisting of a physical textbook and access code and another choice may be for an "Access Code Only". Students would need to decide if they prefer having a printed book to use for reading and assignments or if they prefer an ebook option that they read on an electronic device.

Q: I cannot log-in the Bookstore's webpage - how do I set up my account?

A: You do not need to log-in to view books or browse the website. The first time you place an order, you will be prompted to create an account. This account will allow you to view your order history.

 


Q: How do I order items online?

A: Use the Textbook Lookup to find books/materials for each class and then:

  • Add/Update Items in Cart
  • Select the shopping cart icon in the upper right side of the screen and select Checkout.
  • Select your Delivery Preference to either pick up in-store at the Bedford or Cumberland Campus (no additional cost) or have the order shipped by UPS Ground (subject to shipping charges).  If your order contains an access code only, we will scan the code and email it to with the subject line: Access Code from ACM Bookstore.
  • Select your Payment Method (Credit Card or Student Financial Aid) and enter your 7-digit Student ID Number. If a third party is paying for your order, please select Student Financial Aid as your payment method, enter your Student ID Number add a note in the comments.
  • Add comments (if needed) If a third party is paying for your order, please select Student Financial Aid as your payment method and include a note in the comments about who is paying for your books. Examples:  VERSO, Veteran, UMPC, Upward Bound, Emergency Book Scholarship etc.) 
  • Review Order
  • Click Submit 
  • You will receive an email when your order is complete. You will need the ORDER# and NAME on the order when picking up online orders.

What is Cengage Unlimited


Q: Can I use my Financial Aid to pay for my order?Paying with FA Callout

A: Yes, as long as your Student Financial Aid shows an available balance. 

  • In-store:  Your Student ID Number and a Photo ID (ACM Student ID/Driver's License etc.) are required to charge to your Financial Aid account.
  • Online: During Check Out- you will need to select "Pay with Student Financial Aid" and enter your student ID number. 
  • Note: If a third party is paying for your books/materials - you will select Student Financial Aid as your payment method and include a note in the comments about who is paying for your books. Examples:  VERSO, Veteran, UMPC, Emergency Book Scholarship etc.) 

 

 

Q: If I have a scholarship or another agency is paying for my books, can I still order online?

A:  Yes, you will need to add items to your cart and then follow these directions during checkout:

Q: What is Cengage Unlimited & can I purchase it for my classes?

A: If your classes require a book from the publisher Cengage - you may be able to save money by purchasing the Cengage Unlimited Access Code. The ACM Bookstore sells the Cengage Unlimited One Semester Access Code for $135. Student's only need one code to access all of their Cengage e-books and MindTap materials for the semester. Students who purchase Cengage Unlimited can also rent printed copies of books for $7.99 each directly through Cengage. Contact Cengage Learning for more information on Rentals.

Q: I am having problems with my Access Code, who do I contact?

A: For problems with an access code you purchased, please call the Customer Service number listed on the access code or publisher's website. TEXTBOOKS/ACCESS CODES 

  • Textbooks/Access Codes must be returned within 5 business days of term start date.  
  • Textbooks/Access Codes for Dropped Courses must be returned within 15 business days of term start date. Proof of dropped course is required.  
  • Returns for delayed start courses are evaluated individually. 
  • Textbooks must be in original condition.  
  • Open shrink-wrapped packages, software, e-books, and access codes may not be returnable and are evaluated individually. 
 ALL OTHER MERCHANDISE

  • Merchandise must be returned within 5 business days of purchase. 
  • Merchandise must be in new condition, tags attached, in the original, unopened packaging (free of odors or stains). 

  • Defective Electronics NOT covered by a manufacturer warranty must be returned to the Bookstore with all original packaging within 5 business days of purchase.  

  • Items with manufacturer warranties: (Including Laptops/Printers/Jansport Bookbags) The customer must contact the manufacturer directly for guidance on filing a claim.

Q: How do I sell my books back?

A: The Bookstore now offers a Virtual Sellback during various times throughout the year. The sellback allows students to get a quote for their books online and print out a free shipping label to sellback unwanted books. Once the books are received by the NBC warehouse a check is mailed to the student from NBC.

 


Q: I am an ACM Faculty/Staff member, how do I obtain faculty/staff supplies?

A: Faculty & Staff needing supplies: Please submit the ACM FacultyStaff Supply Order Form available on the employee portal. The Bookstore will notify you when your order is ready for pick-up. 

 


Q: I am an ACM Faculty/Staff member, how do I order ink for a Non-Networked Printer?

A: Faculty & Staff Only:  If you have a non-networked printer that does NOT have a DALY sticker, please sumbit the ACM Departmental Ink Order Form available on the Employee Portal: on the employee portal. The Bookstore will notify you when your order is ready for pick-up.
